  12. Kisan Rath
    Agriculture Ministry launched Kisan Rath Mobile App. The main aim of the app is to facilitate transportation of food grains, and the National Informatics Centre develops it. The central government to ensure farmers and traders can find transport for Agriculture and Horticulture produce.

  13. N Kamakodi
    Private sector lender City Union Bank reappointed N Kamakodi as the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Bank. The appointment was approved the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on 20 April. Kamakodi’s reappointment is for a further period of three years with effect. The reappointment will be effective from 1 May 2020.

  14. India’s GDP Growth Fitch
    Fitch Solutions cuts India’s economic growth forecast for 2020-21 to 1.8% from 4.6% earlier.

  15. World Book Capital 2020
    World Book and Copyright Day celebrated UNSECO on April 23. Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) has been named as World Book Capital for 2020.
